The Villa S. Andrea farm extends over
1300 acres of Chianti Classico territory in Tuscany, central Italy.
At the heart of the farm is the ancient hamlet of Fabbrica; here the
main Villa, the church of S. Andrea, the wine cellars and the oil press
are all located.
All over the farm, at a height of 360 metres above sea level, the slopes
with the best exposure to the sun have been given over to the cultivation
of vines. The farm also has 160 hectares of olives, while cereals are
cultivated in the valleys and the flat lands and are irrigated with
water from two large reservoirs.
The farm produces Chianti Classico wines, IGT wines, extra-virgin and
DOP olive oil, Grappa and Vinsanto.
Villa S. Andrea is part of the "Fabbrica-Santa Cristina" hunting
reserve. For lovers of hiking and cycling the surrounding territory
presents numerous itineraries in splendid, unspoilt landscape.
The farm offers accommodation in one of the three farmhouses immersed
in the countryside . |
